During Office Hours: 425-1600
If your water breaks or you start having regular contractions, please call the office and let us know.
Night or Weekends: 425-1600 to be connected to our answering service
If your water breaks, please go to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Birthing Center as soon as possible.
If this is your first baby and your water has not broken, go to the hospital when your contractions are 3-5 minutes apart.
If this is not your first baby and your water has not broken, go to the hospital when your contractions are 5-8 minutes apart.
If you have had a cesarean section and plan for a trial of labor, go to the hospital when your contractions are 5-8 minutes apart.
If you are scheduled for a cesarean section and your water breaks or you begin to have regular contractions go to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.
