Le’Nisha Johnson, M.D.
Please join us in welcoming Le’Nisha Johnson, M.D., to Virginia Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology! Dr. Johnson joins our obstetric and gynecologic care team on September 8, 2026.
Dr. Johnson was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She earned both her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Biomedical Sciences degrees from Eastern Virginia Medical School before completing her OB/GYN residency training at Ochsner Health in New Orleans.
Throughout her training, Dr. Johnson developed strong clinical and surgical skills while remaining deeply committed to compassionate, patient-centered care. Her experience includes maternal health research, community outreach, service to underserved patients, and supporting women through pregnancy.
Dr. Johnson is especially passionate about educating and empowering women to make informed decisions about their health, pregnancy, and overall well-being.
On a personal note, Dr. Johnson is newly married, and her husband proudly serves in the United States Navy. As part of a Navy family, she has a special connection to the military community we are honored to serve here in Hampton Roads. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, event planning, fitness, and exploring new restaurants.
